At
the Coachella Valley Preserve, we walked the McCallum Trail to the McCallum
Grove plus the Moon Canyon Trail for a total of 4+ miles. The McCallum Trail
has 16 numbered stops which describe the fan palms, San Andreas Fault, desert
pupfish, and various geologic and ecologic features of the preserve.
