Buffalo, NW Pennsylvania, NE Ohio (May, 2006)

A family trip with lots of socializing.  We toured South Buffalo, looking at the houses where my mother and aunt grew up and the schools they attended.  We met a couple of their classmates for lunch at the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora.  After leaving my aunt and uncle in Elyria to attend his family's reunion, my mother and I visited the widow of my father's second cousin at Peek'n Peak near Chautauqua.

We also managed a little bit of sight-seeing, with visits to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural NHS, Forest Lawn, Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Buffalo Botanical Gardens, The Toy Town Museum (home of Fisher-Price) in East Aurora, Allegheny National Forest, Drake Well Museum in Titusville, Meadville, Pymatuning State Park, Historic Kirtland, James A. Garfield NHS, Presque Isle State Park,  Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and the U.S. Brig Niagara at the Erie Maritime Museum.
